Aiming High for Disabled Children
Improving short breaks is a key part of the Government’s transformation programme for disabled children’s services. Sutton is one of 21 pathfinder areas taking forward best practice in the provision of short breaks. In February 2008 Andrew Adonis, Minister for Schools visited Sutton to listen to the views of disabled young people and their families and hear about work going on in the area. www.everychildmatters.gov.uk
